Satanic Buddhist - Fever Dream - PRESALE
Satanic Buddhist Presale!
This is the new issue of my full color diary zine—and the first one I’ve decided to make public. Back in the 90s, zines were a huge part of queer culture, often centered around raw honesty and vulnerability about the author’s life. Sadly, those types of zines have become rare these days.
I started making this zine as a way to update my friends about my life, share some of the drama I’m dealing with, and process things happening around me. Weirdly, we don’t seem to have public spaces to talk about negative experiences anymore—or at least, I don’t see anyone doing that.
While this zine isn’t entirely negative, it does include a long story about a recent heartbreak I’ve been working through. This is my first step in learning how to be more vulnerable in public spaces. That said, the zine also includes some unapologetic bragging (if that makes you uncomfortable, this might not be for you). It's a mix of reflections on my life, the wild, the mundane, and everything in between.
This issue includes:
Photos of my most recent immersive project.
Movie and book recommendations.
My new working theory on fate and destiny.
Photo collages from my life.
Random thoughts that crossed my mind.
If you buy the pre-sale, I’m including a ton of stickers and pamphlets as a thank-you for supporting this project! The zine goes to print Monday, and I hope to have it out by the end of the year.
